I genuinely have to say, Meredith is the best host I’ve ever worked with!!! The condo is impeccable. We felt like we were at home (which is huge)! We had the beach umbrella break on us (which was out of her control) and Meredith was on it immediately! She is amazing! This home is amazing! Duck is so much fun and it was only a short walk to the beach! She also provides everything you need to get to the beach and enjoy it!! I’m forever spoiled by how amazing she was!! If you are on the fence on which house to choose, look no further!! This is your future home at Duck!

We had such a great time staying at Meredith’s place in Duck! The view was AMAZING! The beds were super comfortable and we were very close to all the delicious restaurants and things we wanted to do. A trip we will never forget!!!

This condo was perfect for a girls’ getaway! All the amenities were much appreciated. The spa shower, fantastic..the collection of beach gear and water sports toys in the garage, such a huge value-add..comfy beds and peace and quiet in the evenings..and an amazing view from the fabulously appointed kitchen, where we spent so much time. All the small touches make this place a 5+ star home. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely lovely condo with huge views of the water. We wanted a place with a nice kitchen where we could just cook and read and escape from the pandemic for a while. This was perfect for that. It was spotless, Meredith communicated quickly, and we left totally relaxed. The amenities—huge shower, a Vitamix, adjustable mattresses—were kind of unexpected in a rental. We’d definitely stay again.

I really don’t want to tell you how perfect this place is because I want to keep it all to myself. Meredith is an impeccable host and responds quickly in booking and with any questions you have. Her condo is amazing. It literally has anything you could possibly need…and the view!! You will see the most beautiful sunsets you could ever imagine. We are definitely making a family tradition of coming here, and look forward to making many more memories in this incredible home away from home.

First off Meredith was amazingly quick with her responses and assisted us with any questions we had. The place was sparkling clean, stylish and just a quick walk from the beach. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quick getaway! We truly enjoyed ourselves!

What a wonderful place to stay! Amazing views! One night I woke up in the middle of the night and went to get some water in the kitchen and the moon was shining across the water of the sound and it was like a postcard! The townhouse is steps from the water with a great dock right in front of you. My sons and daughter in law used the kayaks provided with the rental and went out in the sound, they had a great time. I thought the location was great with easy access to both Duck and Kitty Hawk, without the traffic that can get a bit crazy there some times. The place had all of the amenities you could want and we stayed up playing games each night we were there. It is a great space!

The location is perfect, beautiful view of the Sound, walking distance to beach, and tons of activities that are available at no extra cost. The house was sparkling clean and we were even able to check in earlier than expected. The amenities are top notch…we are spoiled and will be a return visitor.

This place is on point and you want to stay here. The views are amazing and way beyond expectations. Pictures do not do this place justice. You will get way more than you expected staying here. The host is amazing and she is very responsive. For my trip she checked in more than once to make sure I was aware of what was happening around me and had everything I needed. Bottom line, if you have anything negative about staying here, you are beyond pleasing.

A luxurious vacation perfected by warm touches and local hospitality! he amenities provided by Meredith allow you to enjoy the local beach town conveniently. We spent every evening relaxing on the back porch with a glass of wine, listening to the sounds of the waves while watching the sunset. A seasonal favorite!

We absolutely loved the rental. An unsurpassed view of the sound, a very stylish design with everything you wanted thought of in advance as well as an extremely responsive host. Highest recommendation.We had a great stay at Meredith’s condo. It is a beautiful place, immaculately clean and a brilliant location. Meredith was great at communicating with us and checked if we were OK during our stay. Meredith was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Also, pictures on the internet do not do this property justice, wow factor! Location was great! Quiet but close to shops, fishing piers and beaches. Our favorite place to hang out was fishing on the private pier, located just steps away from the condo. We will definitely be booking this place again and we highly recommend it!

This place is such a hidden gem. The view over the sound is like a picture, it doesn’t even look real. The kayaks and bikes were perfect. We rode the bikes to the beach and kayaked the sound. We had Thanksgiving here and had everything we needed, everything was so clean. We loved every minute, and didn’t want to leave!!!

My family (two kids and two adults) spent a few wonderful pre-Thanksgiving days here. My daughter was thrilled with the game cupboards, and we all loved the equipment in the garage–we used bikes, kayaks, paddle board, tennis rackets, and probably some stuff I’m forgetting. It was a real luxury to be able to grab a kayak and walk a few steps to put it in–the proximity to the sound made even short and spontaneous paddles easy. And the view from the living room window is stunning–we enjoyed watching the sunsets. While we could have stayed in/near the condo and been entirely happy, the condo is also well located for outings–into downtown Duck (we kayaked there one day, biked another), the Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey’s Ridge, and more. And Meredith was proactive and helpful in communication all along the way.

We had a fabulous vacation staying at Meredith’s place. The Sound view was fantastic! We sat on the porch (there are 2 of them!) and watched sunset. At night we watched the stars from the living room. The beach chairs and paddle boards added to the pleasure of staying at Meredith’s place. Spotless and a pleasure to stay in. I would highly recommend it to future visitors.

We had a great time in Meredith’s condo. The condo is steps away from the Sound. Even in mid November, the water was refreshingly cool and we even took a refreshing swim in the water. Meredith provided toys galore (kayaks, bikes and even kites) in the garage that we used doing the week stay. As seen in the photos, the sunset through the large window was worth the price of the condo. Meredith was very prompt in her responses and the check in was a breeze. Everything was top notch.

This condo is absolutely gorgeous. It was spotless, which was very much appreciated in today’s scary environment. All that has been said in other reviews about the view out the picture window did not do it justice; it is fabulous. We loved the hammock and the screened porch, as well. We spent hours in the various locations enjoying the ever-changing sky and water. Meredith is an unbelievable host — I’d say she is more responsive than any AirBnB host I’ve dealt with over the years. We will be delighted to go back as soon as we can.

This place is FABULOUS!! Beautiful decor, high end finishes…absolute luxury. Sparkling clean. Comfortable beds. INCREDIBLE view of the water and the sunset has to be seen to believe. Meredith was a wonderful host. She checked in regularly to see if I was enjoying my stay and the answer was always, “Yes!” I look forward to staying here again.

This place was beyond my expectations. Check in was so easy and we arrived to a very clean home with a handwritten note and very detailed welcome sheet with amazing local tips. The garage was also full with so many things to use like bikes, kayaks, floats, chairs, etc. the outdoor spaces were amazing. Very quite neighborhood and easy to get to local attractions. Meredith was also very quick to respond to any questions or needs that I had. An amazing stay that I highly recommend.

Great spot for relaxation, contemplation, rest, with wonderful views of the sound. Place was so quiet you could hear a pin drop! All the utensils you will need are there. Beds are king sized and felt wonderful. Showers/bath were fantastic and state of the art. Loved the screen porch on one side and the balcony with hammock on the other.

If you think the view looks incredible in the pictures, it’s even better in person. Everything we hoped for in a COVID-safe getaway. The screened porch got lots of use as we read and enjoyed the sounds of the sound. We used the bikes and the tandem kayak in the garage—all in great shape and easy to access and replace thanks to the photos guides on the wall! The sound was easy to paddle, even for two novices like us. The whole place was Sparkling clean from top to bottom, and had TONS of storage—not an issue for us as it was just two of us and only for a long weekend, but would be super helpful with a larger group or longer stay. If you are visiting later in the season as we did (last weekend of October), just plan ahead for Monday evening, as several of the closest restaurants were closed. Meredith’s extras (tips on the laminated sheet, town map, and sweets) were such lovely welcoming touches. I’m already dreaming of returning!

Lovely condo with the perfect sound-side location and perfect views. Super near enough to Duck shops for a quick visit any time, but far enough away for blissful silence while enjoying coffee on the screened in patio in the morning. So close to the water that carrying the provided kayaks to the launch was really easy. While there is every single water fun toy you could imagine provided here, my family particularly enjoyed kayaking time together. Oh, and that master bath shower was a great to come back to! What a great trip!

This was a great place to stay. The home was clean and close to everything we wanted to do. The pier out back was great if you want to watch the sunset and relax. It was also a great place to fish in the morning and evenings. Caught legal size fish that fed us for two meals and could have kept enough for three more! 😊 The amenities were awesome. We took advantage of the bikes to ride to the Corolla line and used the two person kayak.

Just as described! Everything was perfect, the home the amenities and the equipment at the house to use! Perfect location on the sound, hours of fun kayaking the paddle boarding and the baby loved playing with the rocks and water with no waves!

We had a fantastic time staying in Duck, at Meredith’s condo. The condo was stunning and very comfortable and clean. The view of the sound was gorgeous, and we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset each night. Meredith was very easy to communicate with and provided several tips for things to do. We also enjoyed making use of the bicycles provided to go to town and the beach and had fun using the kayak and paddle board on the sound. I highly recommend a week away at this condo!

She was also very communicative before, during, and after our stay. Our only regret was not staying for a longer period of time!

You won’t be disappointed staying here! Great for families or active couples. 1st floor access makes it easy for older adults as well. Quiet, charming setting with views that can’t be beat! Sunsets were stunning. Moonlit waters were romantic. Perfect place to get away!

I can’t praise Meredith, her hospitality and her home enough. Beyond amazing views, every single amenity you could possibly want from games, to kayaks, to beach equipment, washer and dryer…everything. The house is gorgeous, the beds are incredibly comfortable, shower in the master bathroom is a dream, and the sunset view from the house is breathtaking. We will most certainly be back again, and I suggest anyone looking for a home in Duck snags this place immediately.

Meredith’s place was wonderful! The views of the sound were outstanding and an awesome place to go for a swim for young ones since it is shallow enough for them to stand the entire way out! You can’t beat the location to town! Our family will certainly be back for another stay!!
